We collect: (a) Account Information — name, email address, username, password (hashed), profile photo, bio, and social media links provided during registration. (b) Transaction Data — purchase history, license details, earnings, payout account information. (c) Content — beats, audio files, artwork, metadata (BPM, genre, tags) uploaded by Producers. (d) Usage Data — pages visited, beats played, search queries, time on site, device type, browser, IP address, referral source. (e) Payment Information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. (f) Communications — messages sent through our platform's messaging system.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Platform; process transactions and deliver licenses; send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, license deliveries); send marketing communications (with your consent); personalize beat recommendations; detect and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; generate aggregated, anonymized analytics; and communicate platform updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information with: (a) Other Users — your public profile (username, avatar, bio, beats) is visible to all users. (b) Service Providers — Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), analytics providers — all under data processing agreements. (c) Legal Requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect Audioryx's rights. (d) Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We require all third parties to maintain appropriate security and use data only for specified purposes.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to: maintain your session and authentication state; remember preferences; analyze platform usage via analytics tools; and deliver relevant content. 6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we retain certain data for up to 7 years for legal and financial compliance purposes. Transaction records may be retained for up to 10 years per tax regulations. You may request earlier deletion of specific data subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, bcrypt password hashing, regular security audits, access controls, and multi-factor authentication options. While we take security seriously, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"); object to or restrict processing; data portability (receive your data in a structured format); withdraw consent at any time; and opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell your data). 9. Children's Privacy

Audioryx is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. International Transfers

Audioryx operates from the United States. If you access our services from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. For users in the European Economic Area, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for such transfers. By using Audioryx, you consent to the transfer of your information to the US.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email and/or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Audioryx after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
